Apply Traffic Controller Plans – Yellow Card
Aim:
This course is for any person who may be required to set up and work with a Traffic Control Plan (TCP), issued by supervisors or line managers.
It allows the participant to:
- Identify safety implications of traffic control at road works and personal responsibilities
- Set up and Close down traffic control devices according to a nominated TCP, to OHS and legislative requirements
- Operate a 2-way radio correctly and effectively
- Check, clean and store equipment on completion of work and close down a TCP
Please note that this course does not qualify a participant to control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat, or to select or modify existing traffic control plans.
Prerequisites:
A NSW Work Cover Construction Induction Certificate or equivalent (OHS White Card)
Upon Completion:
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Men At Work Training. A Traffic Control Photo Card (Yellow) will be issued by the RTA within a few weeks of completing the course.
