Traffic Controller – Blue Card
Aim:
This course aims to provide a simple and effective method of training all staff who are required to use a stop/slow bat. To work as a Traffic Controller in NSW it is a Roads & Traffic Authority (RTA) requirement that everyone holds a current Traffic Controller Blue Card. This course meets the work activity requirements of the NSW Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and RTA obligations. It also follows the National Competencies of the Building & Construction ITAB. Upon issue, the Blue Card is valid for 3 years.
Prerequisites:
You must have:
- A valid OH&S White Card

A NSW Drivers License (Min. Provisional 2 - Green P) on the day of the course
OR - A NSW Traffic Controller Photo Card (expired within the last two years)
Upon Completion:
Upon successful completion of the course participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Men At Work Training. A Traffic Control Photo Card (Blue) will be issued by the RTA within a few weeks of completing the course.
