MEN AT WORK TRAFFIC SERVICES
Our Traffic Control Division has enjoyed steady growth since its inception in 2002 and although we are based in Port Macquarie our company is expanding to service all parts of the Mid North Coast and beyond.
Our local knowledge allows us to deliver all aspects of traffic control from planning through to completion of short and long term projects. Our 24 hour, 7 day a week service range’s areas from Bulahdelah to Coffs Harbour and West to Gloucester, Tamworth, and Armidale.
Our Fleet
Our fleet is professionally maintained and each of our vehicles come fully equipped with a comprehensive range of equipment including;
• Traffic management signage & devices
• Stop/slow bats
• Radio communications
Traffic lights are also available for hire, and we will facilitate the hire of other equipment as required.
Satellite depots are being established throughout 2009 to ensure we are meeting an ever increasing demand from our clients, allowing us to service a wider area at a reduced cost.
Our People
As a minimum requirement, all of our Traffic Controllers who are required to use a stop / slow bat hold a current;
• Induction for the Construction Industry (Green Card)
• Traffic Controllers Blue Card (Stop/Slow)
Team Members
Each Traffic controller come supplied with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. As a professional Traffic Control company the majority of our controllers are required to set up and work with a Traffic Control Plan (TCP), issued by supervisors or line managers.
Team Leaders
Our Team Leaders hold current Traffic Controllers Red Card, allowing them to select and modify TCP’s as required. They are also responsible for our teams, equipment and vehicles. This role allows our valuable staff to safely control a work site and make changes when required.
Traffic Management and Planning
Men At Work provide an all encompassing service for long and short term traffic management. Our experienced Traffic Engineers hold current a Traffic Controllers Orange Card allowing them to develop long term Traffic Management Plans along with Traffic Control Plans as required.
